AudioPix FAQs
3D Sound Store Product Support
Q1. I am able to see the slide show that I created In AudioPix but cannot hear any sound.
A1. Assuming that your sound card is working, and you have not turned the volume off, this would indicate that you are running several high priority applications, or other audio applications at the same time. Your sound card is unable to keep up with the multiple/conflicting instructions. Close any other audio applications that may be running while using AudioPix. You can also check your startup folder, and temporarily disable any other audio applications while they are not in use.
Q2. When I play an AudioPix Presentation in Media Player or Real Player it gives me the error message..."An Unknown Error Has Occurred".
A2. As above in Q1 above, you may be running too many high priority applications at the same time.
Q3. I saved my AudioPix presentation but can only play it back in AudioPix. It doesn't work on Media Player or Real Player.
A3. If you wish to play your presentation on Media Player or Real Player, or wish to send the presentation to another person, you should use the CREATE option in AudioPix. Selecting the SAVE or SAVE AS options, will only allow the presentation to be played back in AudioPix.
Q4. While using AudioPix, I receive the following error message: "Automation Error... An interface has too many methods to fire from".
A4. You are running too many different applications at the same time, and your machine is unable to keep up with the requests. The solution is to close or temporarily disable some of the other applications: e.g.: printing while running AudioPix and other applications browser alert sounds are all enabled (disable at least temporarily) (see Q1 and Q2 above).
Q5. I am unable to install AudioPix. I Receive “Error 119”.
A5. AudioPix requires Direct X. The error indicates that Direct X may not be installed on your machine. The presence and current version of Direct X can be checked by locating and starting the executable C:\Program Files\DirectX\Setup\DxDiag.lnk or C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DXDIAG.EXE. Direct X drivers can be downloaded for free from Microsoft's web site
http://www.microsoft.com/directx/homeuser/downloads/default.asp.
Q6. I have a question that is not mentioned here.
A6. Please send an email to support@qsound.com detailing your question. Remember to include your full name, date of purchase (if possible) and QSound order confirmation number.
