Field Applications Engineer:
QSound Labs, Inc, a leading developer of audio and voice software solutions located in Calgary, AB, Canada has an opening for a Field Applications Engineer who is fluent in both English and Korean.
The qualified individual will assist QSound’s engineering and sales teams by providing world class integration and sales support as well as analyzing the customers' technical needs and keep abreast of competitors' solutions and general industry trends.
The individual will be required to:
- Provide on-site support for the integration of QSound’s mobile technologies into customer products.
- Provide hands-on technical work that may involve benchmarking products and validating customers' implementations.
- Train and provide technical support for and be a technical liaison for customers.
- Translate and qualify information from the customers and QSound’s sales team into product specifications and requirements for the engineering team.
- Offer feedback and analysis of customer requirements for future product development.
This position requires a combination of technical and communication skills. Experience with software development and a desire to work directly with customers are necessary. Embedded and audio software experiences are definite assets. Travel (25%) to international customer sites will be required.
